Shy Blue Jay
In the cold weather, I began to realize how important the sumac flowers were to the local bird population. They would use them as a perch and roost, as well as food. This shy young blue bird hid often behind it as I took its picture to paint from. The neutrals compliment the startling reds of the flowers. This print or card would be perfect for the bird or nature lover in your life. It also pairs very well with “Bold Starling,” which was created as a part of this collection, available here: Bold Starling
Limited edition prints are 8” x 10,” on bamboo paper and come numbered, titled and signed by artist, either with or without a mat and frame. Unframed prints come with an archival backer included.
Framed prints are matted with an archival off-white mat and backer, under glass, and live-edge frame is completely ready to hang. Mat and frame adds approximately 4” to each side; The 8" x 10" print framed is approximately 16” x 18”. Frame dimensions are approximate due to the variability of widths in the live-edge wood; No two frames are alike. Note: photo of framed print includes a different example print but is to show the handcrafted mat and frame style.
Inside of cards are left blank, ready for your personalization. Card measures approximately 5 1/4" x 4" and is printed on recycled white cardstock. A recycled white envelope is included with each card.
Pairs beautifully with companion artwork, Bold Starling, available here: Bold Starling
