Loon Song (Blue Eveningscape Collection)
Archival prints and greeting cards of the a lake in moonlight. I saw a friend’s photographs of this image and knew that I needed to paint it ~ the simplified yet vibrant color palette, the time of night, even the moon all beckoned me to pull out the canvases! So, I asked my friend if I could paint Crystal Lake, in Enfield, NH - a place I had never visited, but it was drawing me to it nonetheless. Here is the result of that exchange, in printed forms.
Choose from 5” x 5” open edition and 8" x 8” and 12” x 12” limited edition size prints. Limited edition prints are on bamboo paper and come numbered, titled and signed by artist, either with or without a mat and frame. Open edition prints are not numbered, but are titled and signed by the artist and can also be framed. Unframed prints come with an archival backer and ship flat.
Framed prints are matted with an archival off-white mat and backer, under glass, and live-edge frame is completely ready to hang. Mat and frame adds approximately 8” to each side; For example, an 8" x 8” print that is framed has final dimensions of approximately 16” x 16.” Frame dimensions are approximate due to the variability of widths in the live-edge wood; No two frames are alike. Artist-crafted frame is made from rescued slab wood, wood that is normally burned as sugaring wood or bonfires. Frame is finished in three coats of Vermont poly-whey varnish, a USDA certified biobased product. Note: photos of framed prints include a different example print, but are to show my mat and frame style.
Inside of cards are left blank, ready for your personalization. Cards measure approximately 5” x 5” and are printed on recycled white cardstock. A recycled white envelope is included with each card.
