Peregrine in Flight
Original oil painting on canvas of a head on view of a peregrine falcon with the panoramic Lyme, NH view behind her. I was hiking on Mother’s Day and heard this beautiful bird call out before I saw her, nesting on the cliffs at Holt’s Ledge. I felt humbled, seeing her soaring at my level, and knowing she was caring for her young, as two of my own children ran among the mountain top. Here is the result of this encounter with this endangered falcon.
The painting is accentuated with my signature live-edge wooden frame. Framed oil painting dimensions are 21” x 35”. Hanging hardware affixed to rear of painting.
