Sunset Rendezvous
Prints and cards depicting an ocean scene with a whale emerging in the distance of a sunset eve, with two gulls in tow. I painted the original piece after visiting Maine and chancing to briefly see whales while on the water. It is never for very long - but always memorable - to see these massive creatures. This artwork would be perfect in the hands of a beach, wildlife or nature lover.
Choose from 5” x 5” open edition and 8" x 8” and 12” x 12” limited edition size prints. Limited edition prints are on bamboo paper and come numbered, titled and signed by artist, either with or without a mat and frame. Open edition prints are not numbered, but are titled and signed by the artist and can also be framed. Unframed prints come with an archival backer and ship flat.
Framed prints are matted with a 2" archival off-white mat and backer, under glass, and artist-created live-edge frame is completely ready to hang. Mat and frame adds approximately 8” to each side; An 8” x 8” print that is matted and framed will be approximately 16” x 16." Frame dimensions are approximate due to the variability of widths in the live edge wood; No two frames are alike. Artist-crafted frame is made from rescued slab wood, wood that is normally burned as sugaring wood or bonfires. Frame is finished in three coats of Vermont poly-whey varnish, a USDA certified biobased product. Note: photo of framed print shows a different example print but is used to show the handcrafted mat and frame style.
Inside of cards are blank, ready for your personalization. Cards are printed on recycled white cardstock, measure approximately 5" x 5" and include recycled white envelopes.
