Dragonfly at Rest
I’ve always been enamored with dragonflies, their effortless acrobats in the air as they chase their insect meals. Here was a rare instance of me catching a glimpse of this dragonfly at rest, before taking off again! This artwork would be perfect in the hands of a nature or wildlife lover, gardener or outdoors person.
Choose from 5” x 5” open edition and 8" x 8” limited edition size prints. Limited edition prints are on bamboo paper and come numbered, titled and signed by artist, either with or without a mat and frame. Open edition prints are not numbered, but are titled and signed by the artist and can also be framed. Unframed prints come with an archival backer and ship flat.
Framed prints are matted with an archival off-white mat and backer, under glass, and live-edge frame is completely ready to hang. Mat and frame adds approximately 8” to each side; An 8” x 8” print that is matted and framed has approximate final dimensions of 16x 16”. Frame dimensions are approximate due to the variability of widths in the live-edge wood; No two frames are alike. Artist-crafted frame is made from rescued slab wood, wood that is normally burned as sugaring wood or bonfires. Frame is finished in three coats of Vermont poly-whey varnish, a USDA certified biobased product. Note: photo of framed print includes a different example print but is used to show the handcrafted mat and frame style.
Inside of cards are left blank, ready for your personalization. Card measures approximately 5" x 5" and is printed on recycled white cardstock. Recycled square white envelopes are included with each card set.
