Moose at Eventide
Archival prints and cards of a large male moose through the trees, here in Vermont. My neighbor, called one early fall evening to tell me she had seen a moose passing my way through the woods. I grabbed my camera in time to see his hulking mass alighting through the forest. I've thought many times over the years watching moose, how quickly these massive creatures move - seemingly so quiet, while I am traipsing so noisily, yet trying to be so stealth! Needless to say, the enlightening encounter was still an awesome one. This peaceful artwork of my original painting would be perfect in the hands of a wildlife, nature lover, or other outdoor enthusiast.
Limited edition prints are on bamboo paper and come numbered, titled and signed by artist, either with or without a mat and frame. Prints are 8” x 8” or 12" x 12". Unframed prints come with an archival backer and ship flat.
Framed prints are matted with a 2" archival off-white mat and backer, under glass, and artist-created live-edge frame is completely ready to hang. Mat and frame adds approximately 4-6” to each side; For example, an 8” x 8” print that is matted and framed will be approximately 16” x 16”. Frame dimensions are approximate due to the variability of widths in the live-edge wood; No two frames are alike.
Inside of cards are left blank, ready for your personalization. Card measures approximately 5 1/4" x 4" and is printed on recycled white cardstock. A recycled white envelope is included with each card.
15% of my art sales are donated to wildlife and habitat conservation. See http://www.artistsforconservation.org/Katie-Roberts for specific organizations that I donate to.
