The Wolf Waits
Original oil painting of a lone wolf among blurred vegetation. I saw this old wolf in the Adirondacks at a wildlife center this year. I was floored by his beauty, because of his age, not despite it. I left the leaves in blur to focus on his countenance. This is both a beautiful painting, and a reminder of respecting experience in a world that often worships youth or beauty. This piece would make a wonderful addition to the home of an adventurer, hiker, wildlife or nature lover.
Painting is encased in my signature live edge wooden frame with hanging hardware attached on rear of frame. Approximate framed dimensions are 32 x 37”.
Note: For shipping purposes, I create a wooden box around the piece for safe arrival.
