Hummingbird Joy
Archival prints and cards of two hummingbirds among blooming foliage. I came across a hummingbird while I was running one day. He was so full of life! He couldn’t sit still for more than a moment, just long enough to capture several photos. I decided to include him as the model twice in the original painting, as I loved his exuberance and couldn’t limit him to just one pose. This joyful artwork would make a wonderful addition to the home of a bird, nature lover, gardener or outdoor enthusiast.
Choose from 5” x 5” open edition and 8" x 8” and 12” x 12” limited edition size prints. Limited edition prints are on bamboo paper and come numbered, titled and signed by artist, either with or without a mat and frame. Open edition prints are not numbered, but are titled and signed by the artist and can also be framed. Unframed prints come with an archival backer and ship flat.
Framed prints are matted with a 2" archival off-white mat and backer, under glass, and live-edge frame is completely ready to hang. Mat and frame adds approximately 8” to each side; An 8” x 8” print matted and framed will be approximately 16 to 16.” Frame dimensions are approximate due to the variability of widths in the live-edge wood; No two frames are alike. Artist-crafted frame is made from rescued slab wood, wood that is normally burned as sugaring wood or bonfires. Frame is finished in three coats of Vermont poly-whey varnish, a USDA certified biobased product.
Inside of card is left blank, ready for your personalization. Card measures approximately 5" x 5" and is printed on white cardstock. A white envelope is included with each card.
