Hint of Night
I painted the original painting plein air (entirely outdoors) along the banks of the Ottauquechee River one warm moonlit autumn night in Woodstock, Vermont. There were suspicious cracks echoing in the forest and along the river, from wildlife making their nightly travels. The soft breeze set my mind at ease in what could have been a foreboding painting. In the end, the piece ended up showing the simple beauty and mystery of a New England evening. This artwork would make a perfect addition to the home of an outdoorsperson or nature lover.
The original painting is secured in a refurbished vintage wooden frame. Canvas alone measures 11" x 14". Framed painting dimensions are 14" x 17”. A Certificate of Authenticity is included with every original painting.
