A Cloud's Journey
Giclee prints and cards of a cloud arching its way across the sky… When I worked a conventional job, I would commute into New Hampshire, and I would be greeted with heavenly sunrises each morning. This artwork depicts one of those mornings, with the clouds arching in their intended path. Even as I was fearfully preparing to change my career path, retiring from science to pursue my art - It reminded me that everyone has a journey to take - even the clouds. These prints and cards would be perfect for a nature lover, someone who loves skyscapes or New England, or someone facing a challenge in their life.
Limited edition prints are 8" x 10,” or 11” x 14,” and 16" x 20" on bamboo paper and come either with or without a mat and frame. 8" x 10" and 11" x 14" unframed prints come with an archival backer included and ship flat. 16" x 20" prints come rolled without a backer.
Framed 8" x 10" prints are matted with an archival off-white mat and backer, under glass, and live-edge frame is completely ready to hang. Mat and frame adds approximately 8” to each side; For example, an 8" x 10” print that is framed has final framed dimensions of approximately 16” x 18.” Frame dimensions are approximate due to the variability of widths in the live-edge wood; No two frames are alike. Artist-crafted frame is made from rescued slab wood, wood that is normally burned as sugaring wood or bonfires. Frame is finished in three coats of Vermont poly-whey varnish, a USDA certified biobased product. Note: photos of framed prints show different example prints but are to show the handcrafted mat and frame style.
Inside of cards are left blank, ready for your personalization. Card measures approximately 5 1/4" x 4" and is printed on recycled white cardstock. A recycled white envelope is included with each card.
