A Cloud's Journey
Giclee prints and cards of a cloud arching its way across the sky… When I worked a conventional job, I would commute into New Hampshire, and I would be greeted with heavenly sunrises each morning. This artwork depicts one of those mornings, with the clouds arching in their intended path. Even as I was fearfully preparing to change my career path, retiring from science to pursue my art - It reminded me that everyone has a journey to take - even the clouds. These prints and cards would be perfect for a nature lover, someone who loves skyscapes or New England, or someone facing a challenge in their life.
Choose from 5” x 7” open edition and 8" x 10,” 11" x 14" and 16” x 20” limited edition size prints. Limited edition prints are on bamboo paper and come numbered, titled and signed by artist, either with or without a mat and frame. Open edition prints are not numbered, but are titled and signed by the artist and can also be framed. Unframed 5” x 7,” 8” x 10” and 11” x 14”prints come with an archival backer and ship flat. Unframed 16" x 20" print ships rolled without a backer.
Framed prints are matted with an archival off-white mat and backer, under glass, and live-edge frame is completely ready to hang. Mat and frame adds approximately 8” to each side; For example, an 8" x 10” print that is framed has final framed dimensions of approximately 16” x 18.” Frame dimensions are approximate due to the variability of widths in the live-edge wood; No two frames are alike. Artist-crafted frame is made from rescued slab wood, wood that is normally burned as sugaring wood or bonfires. Frame is finished in three coats of Vermont poly-whey varnish, a USDA certified biobased product. Mat can be omitted for framed prints. State “no mat, signature showing” or “no mat, signature not showing” if you prefer no mat. “Signature not showing” indicates signature is still present but unseen, located under the frame rabbet.
Inside of cards are left blank, ready for your personalization. Card measures approximately 5 1/4" x 4" and is printed on recycled white cardstock. A recycled white envelope is included with each card.
