Archival prints and cards of a deer bedded down in the forest. I happened upon this scene and was even able to capture some photos to paint from before leaving. I wanted to capture that tranquil feeling when painting it. This peaceful artwork would make a wonderful addition to the home of a wildlife, nature lover, or other outdoor enthusiast.
Choose from 5” x 5” open edition and 8" x 8” limited edition size prints. Limited edition prints are on bamboo paper and come numbered, titled and signed by artist, either with or without a mat and frame. Open edition prints are not numbered, but are titled and signed by the artist and can also be framed. Unframed prints come with an archival backer and ship flat.
Framed prints are matted with a 2" archival off-white mat and backer, under glass, and artist-crafted live-edge frame is completely ready to hang. Mat and frame adds approximately 8” to each side; An 8” x 8” matted and framed print will be approximately 16” x 16” when framed. Frame dimensions are approximate due to the variability of widths in the live-edge wood; Artist-crafted frame is made from rescued slab wood, wood that is normally burned as sugaring wood or bonfires. Frame is finished in three coats of Vermont poly-whey varnish, a USDA certified biobased product.No two frames are alike. Note: photo of framed prints includes different example prints but is to show the mat and frame style.
Inside of cards are left blank, ready for your personalization. Card measures approximately 5" x 5" and is printed on recycled white cardstock. Recycled square white envelopes are included with each card set.
