Pink Zinnia Revelry (Sleep in Bloom Collection)
Prints and cards of a bee asleep in a pink zinnia flower head. I came across this scene walking in Maine to see a sunrise. Seeing the bees asleep in the flowers so early in the morning was a new experience for me and I knew I wanted to put them to paint! This artwork would be perfect for the gardener, hiker or nature lover.
Limited edition archival prints are on bamboo paper and come numbered, titled and signed by artist, either with or without a mat and frame. There are two print sizes to choose from, 8" x 8,” and 12” x 12.” Unframed prints come with an archival backer and ship flat.
Framed prints are matted with an archival off-white mat and backer, under glass, and live edge frame is completely ready to hang. Mat and frame adds approximately 8” to each side; For example, an 8" x 8” print that is framed has final dimensions of approximately 16” x 16”. Frame dimensions are approximate due to the variability of widths in the live edge wood; No two frames are alike. Artist-crafted frame is made from rescued slab wood, wood that is normally burned as sugaring wood or bonfires. Frame is finished in three coats of Vermont poly-whey varnish, a USDA certified biobased product. Note: photos of framed prints show a different example print but is to show the handcrafted mat and frame style.
Inside of cards are left blank, ready for your personalization. Card measures approximately 5" x 5" and is printed on recycled white cardstock. Recycled square white envelopes are included with each card set.
