Coonhound in the River
Prints and cards of man's best friend taking a pause in his playful pursuits! Though the coonhound is the subject of this painting, I particularly enjoyed creating the background. It's a labor of love when you become lost in painting water and rock, froth and windy waterways. This artwork would be perfect in the hands of a hiker, hunter, dog or nature lover.
Choose from 5” x 7,” 8" x 10,” and 11" x 14" open edition size prints. Open edition prints are on bamboo paper and come titled and signed by artist, either with or without a mat and frame. Unframed 5” x 7,” 8” x 10” and 11” x 14” prints come with an archival backer and ship flat.
Framed prints are matted with an archival off-white mat and backer, under glass, and live-edge frame is completely ready to hang. Mat and frame adds approximately 8” to each side; For example, an 8" x 10” print that is framed has final framed dimensions of approximately 16” x 18.” Frame dimensions are approximate due to the variability of widths in the live-edge wood; No two frames are alike. Artist-crafted frame is made from rescued slab wood, wood that is normally burned as sugaring wood or bonfires. Frame is finished in three coats of Vermont poly-whey varnish, a USDA certified biobased product. Note: photos of framed prints show different example prints but are to show the handcrafted mat and frame style.
Inside of cards are left blank, ready for your personalization. Cards measure approximately 5 1/4" x 4" and are printed on 100% recycled white cardstock. 100% recycled white envelopes are included with each card set.
