Coonhound in River - Original Painting
Framed oil painting of man's best friend taking a pause in his playful pursuits! Though the coonhound is the subject of this painting, I particularly enjoyed creating the background. It's a labor of love when you become lost in painting water and rock, froth and windy waterways. This artwork would be perfect in the hands of a hiker, dog or nature lover, or hunter.
The painting alone measures 16” x 20.” The painting is encased in my signature live-edge wooden frame. Framed oil painting dimensions are 19” x 22.5.” Artist-crafted frame is made from weathered and rescued slab wood, wood that is normally burned as sugaring wood or bonfires. Frame is finished in three coats of Vermont poly-whey varnish, a USDA certified biobased product.
A Certificate of Authenticity is included with every original painting.
