Coyote Gaze - Original Painting
Framed oil painting of coyote gazing in the distance. In Vermont, I was raised often hearing coyotes calling as I fell asleep. To this day, I still do. When I have encountered a coyote in person, I have always been drawn to their eyes. There is so much intelligence and beauty within them. I wanted to reflect this in the original painting. This artwork would be perfect in the hands of a hiker, a wildlife or nature lover, or simply one that hears the coyote’s call.
The painting alone measures 16” x 20.” The painting is encased in my signature live-edge wooden frame. Framed oil painting dimensions are 20” x 24.” Artist-crafted frame is made from weathered and rescued slab wood, wood that is normally burned as sugaring wood or bonfires. Frame is finished in three coats of Vermont poly-whey varnish, a USDA certified biobased product.
A Certificate of Authenticity is included with every original painting.
