Cardinal III (Cardinal in Sumacs Collection)
About a year ago, cardinals started showing up a lot wherever I was. Cardinals have always been a challenge for me to get good reference photos of them to paint from, until now… It was as if they were beckoning me to paint them..! In this piece, I was drawn to the vibrant coloring of the cardinal against the muted landscape. This artwork would be perfect in the hands of a nature or wildlife lover, hiker, or birder!
Original oil painting is on gallery canvas and measures 6" x 6." Painting is unframed — Gallery wrapped canvas is 1.5” thick, perfect for hanging as is or placing on a shelf or mantle. A Certificate of Authenticity is included with every original painting.
